This lets you know whether your loan application has been keyed into WEF’s loan processing system, whether it has been approved, whether it has been disbursed, and even whether it has been rejected. In an SMS, write the word STATUS, followed by # then your national ID number as below. Then send to 22501 and wait for the response.

RESPONSES AFTER SENDING A TEXT MESSAGE TO 22501

Depending on the service queried, the user can get any of the following responses:

Status of a loan application

The response may be that your group’s application is awaiting approval, your group’s loan has been disbursed, or that your group’s loan has been rejected. If the national ID number you have specified is not found in WEF’s loan processing system, you will be notified that your group’s loan application form has not been keyed in. 

Balance Inquiry

If the message was entered correctly: [Date]: [Account Number]: [Available Balance]: from Women Enterprise Fund. Thank you.

If you specify a wrong group account: You have entered an invalid account; please contact Customer Service on 0714606845. Thank You

Mini Statement
